Job overview and responsibilities Computer Aided Drafting and Design is responsible for delivering a range of design and production solutions – from concept through project completion. Employee will be accountable for all elements of workflow, as well as adherence to established guidelines, deadlines and drawing standards. Create and maintain engineering drawings, placards, and online manuals. The Illustrator works with engineering and to support projects that need to be completed which are, but not limited to: configuration drawings, part drawings, wiring diagrams/schematics, placard artwork, auditing aircraft. NOTE: This position is based at the CSC-Willis Tower in Chicago, IL and considered as a hybrid work-schedule working 2-3 days in-office, however that may evolve with the needs of the company.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Applied Technology, Engineering Drafting Technology or an equivalent degree or a minimum 5 years Drafting and Design experience and demonstrated increased skill and responsibility.
2+ years of CADD Drafting Experience
Expertise in one of the industry drafting disciplines
Experience troubleshooting PC hardware, software, printers and plotters
Requires proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, Adobe Illustrator, Arbortext IsoDraw, Office 2016
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be organized, detail oriented and accurate
Good spelling, proofing, written and verbal skills are essential
Willing and able to travel 10% of the time
Able to Lead a project with little oversight and manage several projects at one time
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
