Requirements

• Associates degree in Drafting, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in Structural, Mechanical or Architectural Drafting.
• 3D modeling experience using Tekla or Solidworks.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with and providing drafting/modeling services for Nucor manufacturing facilities located throughout the United States.
• Using customized 3D modeling software, TEKLA, to create a model of the project to ensure all components fit together correctly as part of a complete design solution.
• Generating and verifying fabrication drawings and reports, bill of materials, and field construction drawings.
