About The Position
This position supports avionics research, development, prototype, production, and maintenance activities at the Patuxent Engineering Facility (PEF). The role involves working as a mechanical/electrical CAD operator/drafter, closely collaborating with design engineers to prepare detailed drawings of complex designs. A high degree of precision and attention to detail is essential, as the job includes converting 3D CAD models to 2D drawings, ensuring compliance with standards, and updating drawings as necessary.
