Requirements

Experience in computer-aided design and drafting
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar)
Experience developing and maintaining technical drawings and TDPs
Knowledge of GD&T principles and standards
Ability to work in a secure Government environment
Associates + 5 years RE
Active Secret clearance required. Top Secret eligibility may be required based on assignment.

Responsibilities

Provide CAD and drafting support for weapons systems and related parts
Develop, update, revise, and maintain detailed Technical Data Packages (TDPs)
Convert two-dimensional drawings into three-dimensional solid models
Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with standards
Liaise with engineers and architects to gather product and structural requirements
Calculate dimensions, material requirements, and weight limitations
Create detailed designs using CAD software
Prepare and review sketches and drawings with engineering teams
Design diagrams, layouts, and workflow illustrations
Identify potential design or operational issues and support redesign efforts
