We are currently seeking a Drafter II to support operations in Drafter II. This is a full-time, CONUS position requiring an active DoD Secret clearance. This position may be subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards Act (SCLS)/Service Contract Act (SCA).

Requirements

HS Diploma or GED with two (2) years of experience drafting/illustrating in the electronics field
Proficient in using AutoCAD and other computerized drafting applications to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings.
Experience with digital imaging techniques to support the development and refinement of engineering documentation.
Familiarity with the Shore Installation Handbook (SIH) and its application in DoD shore-based infrastructure projects.
Skilled in Microsoft Visio for creating supporting diagrams such as rack elevations, network layouts, and system flow visuals.
Must have a current and active DoD Secret security clearance.
Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies

Responsibilities

Utilize AutoCAD and other computerized drafting tools to create and revise technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and engineering standards.
Apply digital imaging techniques to enhance drafting workflows and support the development of detailed design documentation.
Reference and follow guidance from the Shore Installation Handbook (SIH) to ensure all drawings and documentation comply with Department of Defense (DoD) shore-based installation standards.
Use Microsoft Visio to develop supporting diagrams such as network layouts, equipment rack elevations, and system flow visuals for inclusion in installation and technical documentation packages.
