About The Position
The position is with Nucor Insulated Panel Group LLC located in Lewisville, TX. The primary responsibilities include interpreting structural and architectural contract documents accurately, developing detailed drawings using both commercially available and proprietary software, and creating permit, approval, and construction drawings to ensure compliance with performance specifications. The role also involves developing Bills of Materials for shipping lists, communicating project needs and challenges to team members, and interacting with customers to create design solutions that meet specific project requirements. Additionally, the candidate must maintain awareness of project schedules and budgets, meet department accuracy goals, and manage multiple ongoing projects from design through manufacturing and erection phases.
