About The Position

The Draft Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and quality assurance of draft beer systems at customer locations. This role ensures that Hensley Beverage Company’s products are dispensed at the highest quality standards while providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair technical equipment
Basic knowledge of draft beer systems or willingness to learn
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 165 lbs with assistance and up to 50 lbs independently
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair draft beer systems including glycol systems, towers, faucets, couplers, regulators, gas blends, and beer lines
Perform routine line cleaning and preventative maintenance according to company and industry standards
Troubleshoot and resolve draft system issues such as foam problems, pressure imbalances, leaks, and temperature concerns
Ensure all draft systems comply with safety, sanitation, and quality standards
Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory of parts and tools
Communicate professionally with retail accounts regarding service schedules, system performance, and recommendations
Respond to service calls in a timely and efficient manner
Safely operate company vehicles and maintain required certifications and driving standards
Support special events, new account installations, and product launches as needed
Adhere to all Hensley Beverage Company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
