About The Position

The position of Draft Service Technician (DST) is a hands-on role focused on servicing draft beer equipment. Candidates can expect to receive ongoing training, tools, and resources to ensure their success in this mechanically based position. Strong customer service skills are essential as employees will communicate directly with customers regarding installations, timelines, and route coverage.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Working knowledge of draft beer systems (preferred but not required)
• Mechanically/technically inclined (preferred but not required)
• Be results-driven and self-motivated
• Cicerone certification is required of all current AHFP employees

Nice To Haves

• Strong experiences in draft beer industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with route coverage when needed including AM accounts and venues.
• Carry out quarterly preventive maintenance (PM) contracts.
• Attend the necessary facilities to become Micro Matic certified if requested.
• Attend, as assigned, all other training deemed necessary by AHFP.
• Work with and provide training to other employees.
• Maintain effective and professional working relationships with assigned accounts, sales representatives, and draft tech department personnel.
• Effectively manage all equipment to include care and maintenance and inventory of assigned equipment and tools.
• Manage the draft service tech vehicle in accordance to all AHFP policy.
• Additional duties may include line cleaning and other non-billable services as dictated by the demands of the market.
