About The Position

Assist in all aspects of the Cashier Operations department including; NRT processing, assisting in supervision of operation while ensuring excellent customer service and security of all funds.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 90 Days successful cage cashier experience required
  • Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:

Responsibilities

  • Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all external and internal guests
  • Positive role model and example for cashiers
  • Process cashiering transactions for guests including cashing checks, chip redemptions, markers and payments, credit card advances, bill breaking and other transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Proficient in all Front Line, employee, chip bank, marker bank, F&B, and main bank positions
  • Able to utilize computers for majority of cashier transactions
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and timely
  • Understand and comply with all government regulations
  • Understand and comply with government Anti-money Laundering regulations. Know when and how to submit a Suspicious Activity Incident Report (SAI). Know the red flags of suspicious transactions or activities
  • Understand what information is needed to complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTR’s), Monetary Instrument Logs (MIL’s) and Multiple Transaction Logs (MTL) and able to enter the customer information needed to complete forms
  • Process OFAC (Office of Foreign Asset Control) screenings when needed before completing transactions
  • Ability to create and maintain customer RA (Resort Advantage) accounts and enter transactions into RA Floor Monitor, checking and entering all customer data needed to comply with government regulations
  • Identify customers who may be trying to structure transactions or evade or circumvent identification requirements
  • Proficient in credit and marker bank operations including: marker issues, payments, applications and ability to manage and balance Marker bank
  • Proficient in all NRT functions including but not limited to: interpretation of the back office application, NRT fill process, canister replenishment, dropping and reconciling NRT units inclusive of all paperwork and computer data forms
  • Able to handle NRT customer disputes and basic NRT repairs in absence of cashier tech
  • Flexible with Daily work duties including last minute changes
  • Process automated and manual fills and credits for chip bank window
  • Proficient in preparing and verifying transfers and other cage and bank paperwork
  • Assist with WSOP registration desk duties when needed
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
  • Responsible for all funds entrusted during an assigned shift
  • Verify transfers and other paperwork completed by cashiers
  • Provide prompt, courteous service to gaming guests
  • Supply currency and coins to other departments, as needed
  • Handle credit applications and other credit and marker bank operations, including marker issues, payments, and returns
  • Able to process OFAC (Office of Foreign Asset Control) screenings when needed before completing transactions
  • Handle guest disputes
  • Process jackpot payouts
  • Train subordinates, providing each with the knowledge, development and appropriate direction to perform his/her responsibilities
  • Exhibit sound decision-making with emphasis on motivating team and maintaining high morale
  • Ensure timely accurate work history entries
  • Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees
  • Other duties as required to deliver excellent service to internal and external customers
