About The Position

We are looking for a highly experienced Quarry Dozer Operator to support daily production activities in an aggregate mining environment. This role requires precision equipment operation, strong awareness of site safety, and the ability to work efficiently around crushers, haul trucks, and other heavy machinery. The ideal candidate has a solid background in quarry operations and understands material handling and stockpiling. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 3–5+ years of experience operating dozers in a quarry, mining, or heavy civil environment.
  • Strong understanding of quarry operations, material types, and production flow
  • Experience working around crushers, screens, and conveyor systems.
  • Excellent equipment control and precision grading ability.
  • Practice good safety habits
  • Work in dusty or dirty surroundings
  • Follow instructions and meet set standards
  • Judge distances and slopes accurately
  • Make decisions based on verifiable standards.
  • Reliability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically, workers must be able to: Stoop, bend, and crouch
  • Physically, workers must be able to: Use hands, arms, and legs fully
  • Physically, workers must be able to: See well (either naturally or with correction)
  • Physically, workers must be able to: Lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Operate bulldozers to move raw materials, maintain stockpiles, and support loading operations.
  • Build, maintain, and reclaim stockpiles to ensure consistent material flow to crushers and conveyors.
  • Assist with stripping overburden and site development as needed.
  • Work closely with plant operators and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
  • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and basic maintenance such as greasing and fueling equipment.
  • Monitor ground conditions and adjust operations to prevent hazards such as slides or uneven surfaces.
  • Follow all MSHA/company safety regulations and participate in safety meetings.
