About The Position

Southland Holdings is currently accepting resumes for highly motivated construction workers to join our team as a Dozer Operator. Demands require a worker with experience in the heavy, civil construction industry and ability to work under limited direction and supervision. This job requires the ability to perform essential job tasks in less than favorable job conditions. These may include, but are not limited to: Performing strenuous work in varying temperatures, humidity, sand, wind, or other extreme inclement weather conditions for extended periods of time LOCATION: 8057 Lake Worth Road, Lake Worth, FL. 33467 Housing and per diem will be provided for operators only

Requirements

DOT Experience REQUIRED
1-3 YEARS Heavy equipment operation
Operates several types of construction equipment to include, but not limited to backhoes, dozers, or rough graders.

Responsibilities

Operate grader to spread and level material according to grade specification
Can you use GPS
Manipulate hand and/or foot controls to operate a grader on roads
Coordinate machine actions with other activities, moving in response to hand or audio signals
Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions and follow all safety procedures
