About The Position

The position involves operating heavy machinery, specifically a Dozer, in various areas including raw and clean coal piles and refuse areas. The operator is responsible for ensuring that all company equipment and materials are maintained in a clean and safe condition, adhering to the company's safety and operating procedures. This role requires effective communication and documentation skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company equipment, material, and work site are maintained, kept clean, and in compliance with company's standard safety and operating procedures
• Operate Dozer on raw & clean coal pile and refuse area
• Conduct proper pre-operation examination of equipment, use and check of fire suppression system and fire extinguisher, and follow proper lock-out and tag-out procedures
• Maintain proper housekeeping of equipment
• Communicate effectively via company radio and handheld radio
• Maintain fueling and service station
• Perform clean up on belt lines, including shoveling as required
• Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation
• Perform other duties as needed
