The Downstream Account Manager will be responsible for developing, cultivating, and growing Odessa Pumps (a DNOW Company) overall footprint within the Downstream/Industrial Sector, and will act as the representative of DNOW for specific customers, maintaining and enhancing the business relationships with those companies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with extensive contacts of end users in the Downstream/Industrial Market.
  • Relevant business knowledge of Downstream/Industrial Market products and service offerings.
  • MS Office skills (Excel and Word).
  • Oral and written communication skills, presentation, marketing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to initiate and adapt to change, and work as part of small and large teams.
  • Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.
  • Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity, positive and assertive attitude.
  • Maintain and enhance good working relationships with customers.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and analytical, goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Primary focus will be driving sales through focused strategies within the Downstream/Industrial Sector.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers within current and prospective customers.
  • Develop Accounts to strategically grow revenue within the assigned Downstream/Industrial Market.
  • Meets or exceed sales goals by retaining current customers and taking market share from the competition.
  • Responsible for business development, identifying market trends, and gaining competitive knowledge.
  • Develop and execute a strategy to close new opportunities within the Downstream/Industrial Market.
  • Possesses strong communications skills when projects and customers cross territories.
  • Performs other duties as required.
