About The Position

The Downstacker is responsible for the operation of the part of the corrugator that forms loads of sheets after the paper has been combined, slit, scored, and cut to length. Much of this role is dealing in monitoring for quality control and ensuring proper send-off to other machines. Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• GED or high school diploma, 1-3 months experience or combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Receives Factory Job Tickets from Scheduler and organize to work order
• Monitors automatic functions of the downstacker and make manual adjustments when necessary
• Places tags in each load to identify each product
• Performs quality inspections such as board quality, sheet and score dimensions, and board caliper (per the Factory Job Ticket specifications)
• Records inspection results on the Factory Job Ticket and maintains SPC charts for caliper readings
• Completes Nonconformance Report whenever nonconforming product has been identified; also communicates any nonconformance to crew members so that immediate corrections can be made
• Ensures transportation of board to proper follow-up machine 
• Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.
