About The Position

Gehl Foods is a fast-growing food and beverage manufacturer, known for ready-to-serve products like nacho cheese and protein shakes. The company is hiring a Downline Operator for the 1st Shift, from 6am to 2:30pm, with a base pay of $17/hour, potentially higher based on experience. This role is crucial for maintaining safety, quality, and teamwork within the production environment. The position involves operating various machines on the downline and conducting quality checks.

Requirements

No experience required – we provide thorough training
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs)
Team-player mindset who shows up on time and ready to work

Nice To Haves

Previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience a plus—but not required!

Responsibilities

Responsible for operations to standards on the following: Accumulator, Diagraph, Laser, Capper, Straw Applicator, Shrink, Wrapper, Mead, and Elevator
Conduct quality checks in accordance with Gehl Southeast SOP's
Effectively troubleshoot, adjust, and communicate problem statements
Must maintain a work area that complies with all GMP and 5s standards
Hand stacks cases off conveyor when necessary
Accurately document and maintain any critical parameters
