About The Position

Staffing is currently seeking motivated individuals to join a premier production facility in Gainesville as Downstream Operators . This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity offering a stable schedule, a team-oriented environment, and a comprehensive benefits package upon permanent hire. Position Overview In this role, you will be a vital part of the production process, ensuring that finished industrial conduit reels are properly finished, labeled, and prepared for shipment. This position is ideal for those who enjoy active, hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Requirements

• 6 months of manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in an industrial setting with exposure to seasonal heat and cold.
• This facility maintains a strict attendance policy during the probationary period.
• Steel-toe boots are required on Day 1. All other PPE will be provided.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Use specialized hand tools and measuring devices to cut, tie off, and cap product once reels are complete.
• Safely operate pneumatic strapping tools, chains, slings, hooks, and microprocessor keyboards.
• Complete necessary paperwork for inventory tracking and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure product standards.
• Maintain a clean workspace and strictly adhere to all industrial safety protocols.
