About The Position

Grey Street Consulting, LLC (Grey Street), a leading small business provider of Training and Development operational support services to Federal civilian and defense agencies, is seeking to hire a Training Analyst to support our clients within the Department of Transportation. DOT is located in Washington, DC and this position is being performed in a remote capacity. Candidates need to be agreeable to the possibility of the government returning staff on-site, potentially multiple days per pay period in the future. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The training analyst will support necessary tasks under the direction of the Senior Instructional Designer. Develop course and other learning product materials. Develop measurable test items. Support needs assessment and training needs analysis activities. Strong written and oral communication skills. Support course evaluation activities. Evaluate new and existing training data. Create reports based on new and existing data. Assists with training product development as needed. Performs other tasks at the direction of the Senior Instructional Designer. Capability of learning additional software that may be required for the position.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in Instructional Systems Design, Educational Technology, or other training-related field from an accredited academic institution.
  • 5+ years of experience with content development or instructional systems design.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Operate a PC and phone in an office environment.
  • Work in a primarily sedentary position.
  • Perform some bending, light lifting, and carrying of equipment may be required.
  • Any additional office equipment that is required by the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate or certification in Instructional Systems Design or other training-related field.
