We are prepared 24/7 and every day of the year. We are hiring a DOT Driver at our Ennis, TX location. Position Impact The DOT Driver will help keep communities safe and clean. As a DOT Driver you will be responsible for safely operating a collection truck while driving through neighborhoods and communities across the country. You will get the chance to provide reliable, friendly, and consistent service for our customers who rely on us for an essential service.

Requirements

  • CDL "Class A" License with the ability to attain a Hazmat endorsement
  • 2-5 years truck driving experience
  • HAZWOPER and Confined Space
  • TWIC Card preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment
  • Displaying consistent attention to safety in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations
  • Collect delivery instructions from dispatcher, verifying instructions and routes
  • Maintaining logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
  • Reporting any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
  • Driving trucks to weigh stations to document weights and to comply with state regulations
  • Transports non-hazardous and hazardous materials in accordance with applicable guidelines, DOT, and company safety procedures
  • Handling various products, hazardous and non-hazardous materials
  • Performing industrial work and biohazard cleanups
  • Staging, profiling, and processing for disposal hazardous and non-hazardous waste
  • Assist in the removal of soil, debris and other materials, and cleaning up spill sites
  • Operate and clean equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
