About The Position

The DOT Coordinator is responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating electronic personnel records while ensuring compliance with all federal regulations and company policies. This entry-level position is based in the Shared Services department at the Corporate Home Office and offers full-time employment. Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Superior attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Ability to understand and follow processes and controls.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision.
  • Logical reasoning abilities for problem-solving.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to spot and anticipate problems and seek solutions.
  • 1+ year of experience in a professional role (banking, HR, accounting, payroll, etc.).
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to have tough conversations about compliance.
  • High school diploma required, no degree necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in DOT, FMCSA regulations preferred.
  • College degree in business or related field preferred.
  • DOT experience is nice to have.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain new and existing DOT Driver Qualification Files accurately and timely.
  • Manage expiring documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations and requirements.
  • Assist in the DOT Drug and Alcohol program in accordance with FMCSA regulations and corporate policies.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and provide outstanding support.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
