As a dosimetrist, you’ll play a vital role in the fight against cancer, using advanced radiation treatment planning to help ensure precise, effective, and safe care for our patients. Design and calculate customized radiation treatment plans to deliver safe and effective therapy Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to optimize patient care Perform dose calculations and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and safety Assist in brachytherapy procedures and provide technical expertise in radiation safety Guide and educate radiation therapists on treatment plan implementation We have nearly 5,000 dedicated clinical and non-clinical employees and physicians who work together every day to serve the health and well-being of our community. Requirements

  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification within 18 months of hire
  • ARRT certification in radiation therapy (RTT)
  • Strong skills in radiation therapy planning systems, dose calculations, and quality assurance
  • A passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of experience in medical dosimetry- preferred, new graduates with Eclipse training welcome

Responsibilities

  • Design and calculate customized radiation treatment plans to deliver safe and effective therapy
  • Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to optimize patient care

  • Assist in brachytherapy procedures and provide technical expertise in radiation safety
