About The Position

Description Responsible for the preparation, documentation, and quality assurance of individualized IMRT treatment plans by using knowledge of anatomy, physiology, malignant tumors, critical structures, and tolerance levels of all sites of the body. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Conducts examinations with the use of diagnostic equipment, and determines equipment setting for each procedure. 2. Performs and calculates the radiation dose and location, and the energy level of the beam. 4. Presents isodose plans in detail with OARs and target volume doses to the Radiation Oncologist. 5. Plans and produces molds, casts, and other immobilization devices. 6. Monitors and records radiation treatment. 7. Creates and maintains records of treatment plans and outcomes. Works in clinical research (documentation, credentialing) and receive continuing education, as required. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: 1. Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or related field. 2. 3 year's experience in Dosimetry or relevant area. 3. Certification in medical dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board. Preferred: 1. 3-5 years' experience in Dosimetry or relevant area. 2. Certification in CMD or ARRT Radiation Therapy and BLS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or related field.
  • 3 year's experience in Dosimetry or relevant area.
  • Certification in medical dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years' experience in Dosimetry or relevant area.
  • Certification in CMD or ARRT Radiation Therapy and BLS.
