About The Position

Join the Amentum team as a DOSIC - C5I Submarine SWFTS Modernization Specialist supporting contract efforts in Portsmouth New Hampshire. The successful candidates will possess onboard modernization event NAVAL Shipyard experience. Combat Systems experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. (Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain an Active Clearance.)
  • Ten (10) years of practical experience and High School diploma/GED OR degree/formal training and six (6) years practical experience. (Degree/Formal Training is defined as: Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program.)
  • Travel Minimum as needed.
  • Conducting deck plate audits and surveillances and document findings experience.
  • Possess a strong work controls background.
  • Project schedule management experience.
  • Identification and tracking of planned vs. actual progress experience.
  • Identification of problem or weak areas with the Alteration Installation Team (AIT) experience.
  • Identification and interpretation of drawing issues experience.
  • Experience working with the AIT to ensure deck plate work sequencing is being properly executed.
  • Providing written inputs to the Government On-Site Installation Coordinator(OSIC) experience.
  • Be able to attend LMA meetings, as directed by the OSIC.
  • Trip and weekly status report preparation experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Submarine Combat Systems Modernization, WAF and Tagout generation.
  • Development of Liaison Action Record (LAR) and Departure From Specification (DFS).

  • This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.
