About The Position

ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex). We are seeking a detail-oriented Dormitory Housekeeping Lead to join our team. Serves as the Housekeeping Supervisor to Dormitory Management. Oversees all aspects of the Dormitory Housekeeping operation in accordance with contract requirements. Responsible for the coordination, scheduling and supervision of all Housekeeping staff and all essential housekeeping functions. Individual must have housekeeping supervisory experience in a dormitory setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Must have minimum one year in related field performing similar job tasks.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, and posses a valid U.S. Passport or REAL ID.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to follow detailed orders, instructions, and training materials.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and electronically.
• Must exhibit excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Must be able to squat, lift, push, and pull 30 lbs. unassisted.
• Pass a background check and physical examination.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00 pm, Saturday work may be required(weekends and holidays as needed).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule delivery of required linens, chemicals and associated cleaning supplies for daily operation of the dormitory facilities.
• Coordinate, schedule and supervise housekeeping, janitorial staff members, and porters.
• Schedule daily room cleaning needs based on student class sessions, new arrivals and departures.
• Conduct room inspections and monitor daily cleaning requirements to ensure contract compliance.
• May purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen new applicants, train new employees, take disciplinary action against employees as necessary.
