About the position
The incumbent is responsible for fostering a safe and supportive living environment for students in residence halls. He/She serves as a resource for students, enforces dorm policies, and assists with administrative and community building activities.
Responsibilities
- Communicates effectively with dorm staff, students, and university administration.
- Serves as resident hall assistant.
- Assists in enforcing dormitory policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Current undergraduate (Freshman) student at Alcorn State.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at time of application, hire, and/or rehire.
