USADA is seeking a dedicated and driven individual to fulfill its mission to "Stand with athletes to champion their right to clean sport, inspire true and healthy sport, and promote the integrity of sport." This role is crucial as USADA expands its Anti-Doping program to support major international competitions, including the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2026 (Milan) and 2028 (Los Angeles). New team members will contribute to USADA's long-term positioning for these opportunities and help ensure a clean Games in 2028. The Doping Control Officer (DCO) is responsible for collecting samples from athletes, encompassing preparation, execution, and post-collection administration for Doping Control at both events and out-of-competition settings. DCOs serve as USADA's field representatives, conducting Doping Control throughout the United States for Olympic, Paralympic, and Client Services testing teams, under the direction of the Doping Control Operations team. This position involves working with the HQ team to maintain a fair and healthy environment for athletes and requires both local and national travel for assignments. To qualify for a DCO II level, a valid phlebotomy credential in good standing is required, enabling the officer to draw blood.
