About The Position

Valet Living is seeking part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists (Service Valets) to provide evening trash and recycling collection services for apartment communities. This role involves collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps and transporting it to the on-site compactor. Specialists will service one or more nearby apartment communities, ensuring no long-distance driving or off-site dumping is required. Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Smartphone with a data plan to use the work app.
Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required).
Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to walk long distances and climb multiple flights of stairs.
Ability to work around bagged trash and waste.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling from apartment doorsteps.
Take collected trash and cardboard to the on-site compactor.
Service one or more nearby apartment communities during the shift, all within the same local area.
Stay active by walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors during the shift.
Use the mobile app to check in, track work, and take photos when needed.
