Part-Time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist - Nights - Pickup Truck Required
About The Position
Valet Living is seeking part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists (Service Valets) to maintain cleanliness and comfort in apartment communities. This role involves collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps and transporting it to the on-site compactor using a personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer. The position offers consistent evening hours, typically 10-15+ hours per week, from Sunday through Thursday, starting after 7:00-8:00 PM. It is an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking a second job or supplemental income, providing steady work in a local area without the need for long-distance driving or off-site dumping. Specialists will remain active by walking properties and climbing stairs, working outdoors in various weather conditions. Requirements
- Your own personal open-bed pickup truck (or vehicle with a trailer)
- Valid driver’s license
- Auto insurance
- At least 18 years old
- Smartphone with a data plan to use our work app
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required)
- Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk long distances and climb multiple flights of stairs
- Ability to work around bagged trash and waste
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps
- Take collected items to the on-site compactor using your personal pickup truck
- Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, all within the same local area
- Stay active by walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors during your shift
- Use our mobile app to check in, track your work, and take photos when needed
