About The Position

As a Doorman/Security at Casablanca Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests. This position requires a professional individual who can blend hospitality with security, serving as the first point of contact for patrons. Your responsibilities will include guest screening, enforcing rules, and managing conflicts to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, bouncer, or front-of-house roles preferred.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be of legal age to perform the duties required.

Responsibilities

• Scan every ID regardless of age to ensure the ability to ban problem guests.
• Perform thorough and respectful searches of guests for weapons, drugs, and prohibited items to maintain a safe environment.
• Uphold Casablanca's policies, including dress code, and manage entry in accordance with local regulations.
• Greet guests warmly, provide information about the venue, and address any inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• De-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively, ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests and staff.
• Monitor the premises for any suspicious activity, enforce bans as necessary, and coordinate with management and law enforcement when required.
• Control crowd flow, manage queues, and ensure a smooth and efficient entry process during peak hours.
• Document incidents, maintain accurate records of denied entry, and report any security breaches or policy violations to management.

Benefits

• Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
