Door Staff/Security
About The Position
We’re looking for outgoing, dependable part-time Door Staff (security/greeters) to join our Columbia team—1–2 shifts per week, with optional bonus hours available stepping in at our Baltimore spot when needed. Pub Dog – a craft beer and pizza concept – is a Maryland restaurant group with 3 pub locations and a commercial brewery. Our brand was born n the historic Federal Hill neighborhood of Baltimore in 2001. We are seeking high-energy, upbeat, candidates to join our team. We value growth, comradery, collaboration, and those who lead by example to build trust, respect, and community among staff, as well as an exceptional guest experience. We pride ourselves on our reputation for having some of the lowest employee turnover in the restaurant industry. Pub Dog has worked hard to build a great culture and vibe. Requirements
- Evenings, as early as 5 PM and as late as 2:30 AM
- Weekends and late nights are a must
Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with a wagging smile at the front door
- Verify IDs quickly and courteously
- Keep the party flowing by collecting and washing glassware
- Assist the manager with handling any guest security issues
