About The Position

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. (In New Century, KS, Lebanon, TN, and Rockford, IL we do business as: Olathe Millworks, Warren Brother Sash & Door, River City Millworks respectfully.) Position: We are growing and seeking a Door Shop Production Associate in our door shop! You will use a variety of tools and machines to fabricate doors from component materials.

Requirements

Strong physical stamina this role requires a lot of physical activity. You will routinely lift and carry products from 75-100 lbs. weight with a helper.

Nice To Haves

Experience with a production environment, especially in the wood working industries, is a huge plus (machine operators, machinist, assemblers, etc.)

Responsibilities

Fabricate doors and door frames using table saws, routers, chop saws and nail guns.
Operate machines and tools in the assembly and production of doors.
Assist our delivery drivers by loading and securing material in the truck.
Stage and load material in trucks in accordance with customer orders.
Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies.
