About The Position

Opportunity: Door Person Greet each guest in a friendly and professional manner at the front door of the hotel and maintain the appearance of the front door area in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open vehicle and hotel doors and greet guests upon arrival and departure.
• Hail taxis as needed.
• Respond to guest questions and provide information about local attractions, events and daily activities in the hotel.
• Greet V.I.P. and repeat guests by name.
• Sweep and mop the floor and outside door area daily to maintain an organized and clean appearance.
• Maintain knowledge of all emergency procedures, including guest-related responsibilities and evacuation procedures. Assist in the case of an emergency.
• Perform check-in and check-out calls, involving luggage handling and the escorting of guests as needed.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
