About The Position

The Doorman is the first point of contact for guests entering the establishment. They are responsible for greeting and welcoming patrons, verifying the identification of players parking on the front drive, maintaining entry protocols, and providing general assistance and information to guests. The role requires a strong focus on customer service, appearance, security awareness, and adherence to casino policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, security, or customer service preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Conflict resolution skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Knowledge of casino operations and gaming regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner as they arrive at the casino.
  • Check and verify guest identification when parking at the front drive.
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence at the entrance to deter inappropriate behavior or violations of casino policies.
  • Monitor and manage guest flow during peak hours and special events.
  • Coordinate with security personnel regarding any suspicious behavior or entry issues.
  • Provide directions, answer basic questions, and assist guests with inquiries about casino facilities, events, and amenities.
  • Assist guests with mobility issues by opening doors and offering physical support when appropriate.
  • Report any security concerns, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel immediately.
  • Remain calm and composed during emergencies, following proper protocols.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and order of the entrance area.
  • Occasionally assist with crowd control or valet coordination.
