About The Position

As the first face most customers will encounter at Kemo Sabe, it is imperative that you be friendly, outgoing, and thick-skinned. You must be comfortable thinking on your feet, following instructions, and staying calm in a hectic environment. Must be able to control guest flow in a welcoming and respectful manner. Must be able to stand for hours at a time, walk, bend, reach, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Manage rope and guest flow in and out of front door
Mop and sweep front walkway upon arrival
Bus glassware inside and outside of the store
Following instructions of Manager On Duty
Assisting with trash removal throughout and at end of shift
Assisting with event setup
Learning the locations of key items that customers may request within the store (e.g. hat boxes, hat sponges, etc.)
Arriving in time to be presentable and ready to work at scheduled shift start time
Understanding and following our entry policies for VIP Black Card Holders
Checking IDs at the door
Serving non-alcoholic drinks to guests waiting outside
Involving a manager when dealing with a difficult customer
Escorting guests out at the MOD's request
Maintaining a clean and tidy front walkway
