About The Position

We’re looking for a confident and professional Nightlife Door Host/Greeter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy nightlife environment, enjoys engaging with guests, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-organized entrance. The Role Greet guests warmly while ensuring safety and order at the door Verify IDs and enforce responsible alcohol service; refuse entry to underage or overly intoxicated guests Monitor guest behavior and respond to conflicts professionally and discreetly Manage crowd flow, line organization, and foot traffic during peak periods and events Communicate guest or safety concerns promptly to management Assist team members with guest service and security as needed Maintain situational awareness to prevent safety or security issues Perform end-of-night duties to maintain readiness and ensure smooth operations for the next day Uphold all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with Health Department and restaurant guidelines

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; applicants must be 21 or older
  • Must have or be able to obtain ABC Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification and CA Guard Card or PPO Card
  • Previous experience in nightlife, doorman, or high-volume hospitality/security roles preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, guest-focused demeanor
  • Calm, assertive, and able to handle high-pressure situations confidently
  • Excellent situational awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for long periods and manage busy entrances safely

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in nightlife, doorman, or high-volume hospitality/security roles preferred
