What You'll Do As a Door Conversion Technician , you’ll be at the heart of our production floor – transforming raw materials into fully prepped, custom-fit hollow metal, stainless steel, and wood doors. Every day brings something new as you: Customize and prep doors with hardware, glass kits, lites, and sizing modifications. Interpret shop orders, templates, and drawings to bring our designs to life. Work with a variety of tools: welding, routing, grinding, sanding, and painting. Operate forklifts and manage materials across the shop. Collaborate with teammates and contribute ideas for process improvement. You’ll Use and Learn Arc welders, grinders, sanders, band saws, routers, plasma cutters, and more. Techniques in glazing, mortising, painting, and even light fabrication. Requirements
- Mechanically inclined with solid problem-solving skills.
- Able to read technical drawings and interpret shop specs.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and working on your feet.
- Team players who care about safety, quality, and doing the job right.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with welding, woodworking, or fabrication is a plus, but we’ll train motivated candidates with the right attitude.
