About The Position
The Donor Specialist - Mobile Operations position at LifeStream is a full-time role that requires a dedicated individual to perform essential duties related to blood donation and donor care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience for donors while adhering to safety and procedural guidelines. This role involves working in both laboratory and medical environments, particularly in mobile operations, which may present high-risk situations. The Donor Specialist will engage with donors, perform venipunctures, and maintain accurate documentation of donor information. Excellent customer service and communication skills are paramount, as the individual will be the face of LifeStream during mobile operations. The position also requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team, follow established procedures, and maintain confidentiality regarding donor information. The candidate must be comfortable working with blood and have a good understanding of basic math skills to determine donor eligibility and draw information. Additionally, the role demands physical capability, including the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and operate a standard passenger vehicle. The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and a commitment to safety and quality in donor care.
