About The Position

The Donor Service Representative at Goodwill Keystone Area is responsible for assisting and promoting the donations of clothing and household items for resale in store locations. This role involves providing positive customer service, greeting donors, assisting with unloading donations, issuing receipts, and maintaining a clean and orderly production area. The representative also supports the transportation department and participates in organizational programs and events while ensuring workplace safety.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to speak, hear, read, and write.
• Ability to speak English to interact with donors and customers.
• Must present a neat and positive appearance.
• Must possess good customer service skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a forklift license or ability to become certified as a forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Greets donors in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Promotes and represents Goodwill Keystone Area positively.
• Assists donors with donations and unloading from vehicles.
• Issues donation receipts and provides information to donors.
• Completes donor tracking paperwork accurately and timely.
• Assists transportation department with loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintains a clean and orderly production and donor area.
• Supports and participates in organizational programs and special events.
• Promotes an environment of workplace safety.
• Communicates progress, problems, and concerns to the Production Manager.
