About The Position
As a Donor Screening Supervisor at Octapharma Plasma, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the plasma donation process, ensuring that both donors and patients receive the highest level of care and service. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about helping others and are eager to expand their career development potential. You will be responsible for registering new and current plasma donors, conducting essential screening procedures, and maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP), current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP), and regulatory guidelines. Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you train and oversee donor screening personnel, conducting interviews, evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as necessary. In this role, you will also educate new donors about the products made from donated plasma, ensuring they understand the importance of their contributions. You will be accountable for all area operations, including donor flow facilitation, scheduling, and employee supervision. Reporting quality issues and procedural deviations to Quality Assurance and Management will be part of your responsibilities, as will remaining vigilant for any adverse donor reactions and notifying the appropriate staff. Additionally, you will be tasked with cleaning blood or plasma spills and following proper procedures for the disposition of biohazardous waste. This position requires a commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
