About The Position

The Donor Relations Manager is responsible for leading and implementing a strategic stewardship program that will foster long-term engagement and investment with the Prisma Health-Upstate Foundation. This role involves creating, executing, and tracking unique and impactful stewardship and recognition opportunities through various vehicles and formats to demonstrate the value and impact of philanthropic investment. The manager will plan, coordinate, and execute donor recognition and stewardship events and activities, interfacing with donors, volunteers, and clinical partners to strengthen relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, alumni relations, marketing/communications, sales or related field.
  • Strong written communication and design skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of fundraising programs and activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the strategic identification, development, execution of donor recognition opportunities, including facility and other namings, recognition walls, plaques and awards, and other opportunities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of stewardship events, including awards presentations, groundbreakings, donor recognition reveals and ribbon cuttings, and the annual Legacy Society Luncheon.
  • Manage the Legacy Society, Prisma Health-Upstate Foundation's giving society for planned giving and endowment donors.
  • Manage the annual endowment reporting process, creating content and designing individual reports and associated collateral.
  • Collaborate with Foundation teammates on stewardship communications, including impact reports and donor stories.
  • Manage annual awards and other recognitions for donors, clinical partners, and volunteers.
  • Develop and update the Foundation's naming policy and other policies related to donor recognition.
