Job Summary: Identify and develop effective strategies to recruit, retain and manage sponsors and utilize knowledge to monitor, educate and improve the team to drive achievement of established monthly, quarterly and annual blood collection goals. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, communication or related field required.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs is preferred.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including training and presentation skills is required.
  • A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
  • Ability to work on a team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop creative strategies to attract, manage and retain potential blood drive Sponsors and feeder groups for existing blood drives.
  • Implement new methods for efficient scheduling of blood drives by assigned Sponsors.
  • Assist management with developing and mentoring staff, assessing progress of team members, running monthly team and booking meetings, and sharing in-depth knowledge.
  • Serve as a creative and operational resource to assigned junior staff to ensure consistent and effective implementation of recruitment plan.
  • Assist management in developing overall annual and long-term recruitment plans with attendant strategies and methods for implementation.
  • Ensure tools, technology and strategy provided by the organization to enhance customer service, efficiency and productivity are fit for purpose and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Serve as point of contact and secondary approver when manager is absent.
