About The Position

ImpactLife is seeking committed individuals to join their team as Donor Recruiters. This part-time position, working under 30 hours a week (Mon-Thu 8:30a-2:30p, Fri 8:30a-4p), involves the selection, education, communication, and recruitment of blood donors for special programs and/or converting donors to special procedures. The role requires excellent customer service and inside sales skills, as interaction with potential blood donors will primarily be by phone. Candidates should be friendly, reliable, comfortable with computers, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. ImpactLife is an independent, community nonprofit that provides lifesaving blood products to over 120 hospitals and emergency medical service providers across a four-state region, with a team of 800+ strong.

Requirements

Must be able utilize multiple computer programs and software applications to research donor information and eligibility
Be friendly and reliable
possess strong written and verbal skills

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Telephoning prospective donors from established call lists/files, scheduling donation appointments and maintaining accurate donor records.
Responsible for advanced recruitment activities to include conducting research to identify new donors for special procedures.
Interact in a positive, friendly, and customer-focused manner with donors.
