About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities or disadvantages. This is accomplished through education, training and placement in gainful employment. We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Donor Greeter. This role is essential in ensuring our donors feel appreciated and welcomed. The Donor Greeter will report to the Store Manager. The Donor Greeter plays a critical role in providing a positive experience for our donors. This position involves greeting donors, assisting with donations, providing information about our services, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move donations as needed.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
A valid ID is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet donors as they arrive.
Assist donors with the donation process, including answering questions and providing necessary information.
Ensure the donation area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
Thank donors for their contributions and provide any follow-up information as needed.
Assist with the intake and processing of donations.
Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient donation process.
Address any donor concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Perform other duties as assigned.
