The Donor Database & Relations Specialist is responsible for assisting in the stewardship of Regional Hospice donors, as well as the ongoing management of Regional Hospice's Network for Good donor database. The ideal candidate will have experience in database management and reporting. Additionally, the candidate must possess proficient multitasking skills and work independently and proactively. Essential functions include: Donor Database: Manage and maintaining the quality and integrity of the Network for Good database by inputting gifts into donor records; maintaining highly accurate and current donor data that effectively tracks key information, cultivation activities & histories, and solicitation & reporting calendars; reconciling gifts with the finance department; generating various mailing lists for the development team and others; working with NFG staff to troubleshoot problems with the database and staying current with system updates. Generate various financial and dashboard reports, donor status reports including retention rates, gift history, and other key metrics Maintain files and records as required for reconciliation and audit reports. Generate timely acknowledgment letters to donors. Generate solicitation letters as required Stay up to date on best practices in database technologies and strategies Donor Relations Work with Development leadership to participate in donor stewardship activities including prospect research and other activities as needed. Strategically and consistently utilize Network for Good donor search to maximize efficient and effective management of donor pipeline. Work with philanthropy manager to distribute quarterly online development newsletter through Network for Good. Send donor communications about events, online auctions, end of year appeals, etc, through Network for Good. Events Assist with the planning and execution of special events including fundraising events, donor appreciation events, and community outreach events. Assist with mailings and donor segmentation for fundraising campaigns, events and philanthropic initiatives.. Maintain mailing and RSVP lists. Manage Network for Good and/or GiveSmart platforms. Collaborate with Marketing to promote event through social and traditional methods.
