About The Position

The Donor Center Phlebotomist 1 at Carter BloodCare is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient donor flow during blood donation processes. This role involves performing sterile venipuncture, determining donor acceptability, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to regulations and standard operating procedures. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year general work experience, preferably working with the public.
• Customer service experience required.
• Previous Phlebotomy 1, blood banking experience or medical field experience preferred.
• Background in a highly regulated industry.
• Bilingual skills and CDL driver license are a plus.
• Computer knowledge is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and positive attitude with the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Some college education is a plus.
• Internship or externship experience in a related field.

Responsibilities
