About The Position
Assist donors by receiving and unloading donations with friendliness and courtesy.
Requirements
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting to 50 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs., standing, bending, and reaching.
Responsibilities
- Track sorting metrics by maintaining tally sheets for equipment processed daily.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Position large items for easy pickup.
- Use appropriate equipment to load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Welcome donors, assist with unloading, issue receipts, distribute flyers and bags.
- Record donations and equipment.
- Sort donations according to guidelines.
- Follow and understand safety protocols and participate in related training.
- Responsible for securing locations at the end of the business day.
- Manage ventilation during hot weather.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
