About The Position
The position involves working at a donation center area to receive, sort, and price merchandise while maintaining cleanliness in the building and grounds of a retail store and donation center. The role includes providing customer service by greeting donors, unloading donations, and issuing donation receipts. The employee will separate clothing and non-clothing items, inspect donations for safety standards, price merchandise, and load/unload trailers. Additionally, the employee is responsible for maintaining a clean work area, documenting donor numbers, performing custodial duties, and reporting any security issues to management.
