About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida works with the community providing support in mission services, retail and donated goods, and business development. Description of Responsibilities: Great customer service skills. Primary duties include the receipt, recording, sorting of donations to effectively process through the Kaizen system. This is a front line position representing Goodwill Industries to the public. Full compliance to Kaizen guidelines/principles as outlined in the audit and 5-minute drills. Other duties included but not limited to: processing, cleaning, customer service, building fixtures/equipment, and all other duties instructed by your immediate supervisors.

Requirements

• High School graduate or its equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred.
• Must have sufficient mobility
• Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side, lean kneel or bend and stand for long periods of time
• see and recognize colors
• knowledge of basic math skills
• lift at least forty (40) pounds on a frequent and continuous basis and occasionally to team lift up to (100) pounds.
• May have to occasionally work where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.
