This work is made possible by community donations, purchases, and partnerships. The Gig Harbor, WA store is currently seeking a Full Time Donation Attendant. As a member of the Goodwill production team, Donation Attendants will be responsible for processing and sorting the donations provided by the community. Goodwill's mission is to help people reach their fullest potential through individual education, job placement and career pathway services made possible by community donations, purchases and partnerships. Responsibilities

  • Accepting donations from donors and issues receipts as necessary
  • Keeps donation indoor/outdoor areas clean, neat, and free of debris
  • Assists in the unloading/loading of trucks and/or trailers
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills: greets donors, carries donations from donor’s vehicle to the center, and provides donor receipt if requested.
  • Exercises good judgement in determining which donations are acceptable while communicating that decision to the customer effectively and politely as possible.
  • Maintains all required records and delivers them to supervisors or drivers as scheduled.
