Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Not required
One year or less of work experience. Not required
Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.
Ability to use good judgment and think quickly and rationally in difficult or stressful situations.
Must be able to sit, stand, grasp, push, reach, and bend.
Must be able to perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement.
Must have finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to donors.
Receive donated goods from donors at the donation center. Assist donors with unloading cars and carrying merchandise. Provide receipts to donors.
Sort merchandise according to category and place in designated containers.
Assist CDL drivers with loading and unloading trucks.
Abide by all company policies and procedures.
Report any known potential losses and work to protect GWC assets.
Keep accurate records of total donors on a daily and weekly basis.
Maintain cleanliness of donation site.
Adhere to safe work practices and report any unsafe conditions or actions.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
