About The Position

- The Donation Attendant Lead at Goodwill Industries of Dallas Inc is responsible for overseeing the donation process, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail or donation center environment.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
• Proven track record of effectively managing teams and operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with donors, customers, and team members.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient donation processing and inventory management.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of donation attendants, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Oversee the donation process, ensuring that items are received, sorted, and processed according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized donation area, ensuring safety and accessibility for donors and staff.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting donors with their questions and ensuring a positive donation experience.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to ensure adequate supplies and resources are available.
• Train new donation attendants, ensuring they understand company policies, procedures, and customer service expectations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for staff and donors.
• Handle and resolve any issues or complaints from donors in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to support Goodwill's mission and goals.
